Duke Anderson was sitting peacefully on one of the bar stools just enjoying a glass of refreshing beer but mostly he just stopped in at J's Bar to get something to eat. The place was relatively empty but it was strange to Duke because it was only 9:30 and that is usually the busiest time of the night for the bar. He watched as an waitress placed a plate with a cheeseburger and some fries so he flashed her a smile that just meant thank you. He took a big bite of his burger and swallowed before he took another sip of his beer and continued to eat his food.
Within the next five minutes he finished his food and paid for the food and his beer before he wished the waitress and J the owner a good night before heading toward his car. When he reached his car, Duke was stopped by a young women who walked out of the alleyway and stumbled toward him. He looked at her as she felled to the ground and so he rushed over to her and checked to see if she was okay. He bent down on one knee "Are you alright?" he asked before the women looked up at him and pouched him straight to the ground. He takes his right fist and punched her on the left side of the head before throwing her off of him and ran back inside of the bar.

Bruce Williams had just gotten off duty and was sitting down in J's Bar, still in Uniform I might add.
He had stopped here to get a cold one before he wen back to work.
He was enjoying his time off because strange things had been happening in Raccoon City lately.
There were reports of people being attacked and bitten by others keeping the Police busy.
Just as he paid for his beer and got ready to leave and go back to work, a previous customer who he just saw leave came rushing back in with a look of panic on his face.
"Sir what's wrong?" Bruce asked as he got up and walked over.

"One of those people who had been attacking people around town just tried and kill me but luckily thanks to my karate skills, I was able to get her off of me." he said as someone or something started to bang on the door to the bar so he quickly rushed forward and locked it just in case they knew how to use doorknobs. Duke pulled out his Glock from his hip holster and looked toward the police officer and started to explain why he would have a gun on his person. "Ever since people started to get attack, I was feared for my life so I decided to get an unregister gun from a gun store."

"Well sir even though you got it for self-defense it is illegal to buy an unregistered gun, let alone carry it around." Bruce said.
"I'll let you off with a warning however since it would appear more of them are coming and trying to break in." he said as he pulled out his radio to call for help.
"Hello anyone there we have another attack going on outside of J's Bar, there trying to break in!" Bruce said as he waited for a reply. All he got though was the sound of gunfire and moaning and a plethora of cries for help on the other line.
"Hello! Hello! Damn it it can't have goten this bad already. Well looks like I'll have to take charge." Bruce said as he put away his radio and pulled out his Beretta.
"Everyone please evacuate to the rooftop and use the emergency ladder to get down!" he said to the few employees who quickly accepted and headed for the roof.
"You since your the only one with a weapon beside myself lead the group to the roof I'll bring up the rear!" Bruce said to Duke when suddely the glass started cracking.
"Come on!" he said.

Duke nodded at the police officer as he opened the door that would lead to the staff room, to the liquor room, and then eventually would lead to the rooftop. He motioned for J the owner and the only waitress in the bar to follow him as he lead them up the steps but as he was about to pass a window a lone zombie broke through the window and before he knew it, the zombie pulled the waitress through the window. The last thing that he heard from her was her screaming in pain and agony as the zombie started to feast on her flesh.
He felt like climbing through the window to save her but he knew that getting himself killed would do anything so he decided to try his best to keep J the owner alive. J was on his knees quivering in fear and Duke helped him up and said "There's nothing we can do. Let's go." then they both continued their way to the rooftop, hoping that they both could stay alive until then.

Bruce heard a Window breaking in the next room as he shot at the zombies who just broke through the front door and window.
"What's happening up there!?" he shouted as he ran through the door to the room shutting it behind him.

Duke heard Bruce yelled up to him so he stopped and turned around before yelling "The waitress that was with me just got pulled out of an window by a zombie." then he turned around and continued to help the bar owner toward the rooftop.

"Damn!" Bruce said as he caught up with the two.
"Keep going up I shut the door to the stairway but they'll break through soon."
"I'm going to stay behind and stall them for a little bit longer"
"Don't worry I'll catch up. Now go!" Bruce finished

Duke nodded towards Brian before motioning for the bar owner to follow him. They arrived at the liquor room which was completely empty but that wasn't too last when two people started to slowly walk towards them. He was completely focused on the two that was following which he didn't see a third one that was sneaking behind them and bit the bar owner on the arm which made him scream out loud in pain. He walked forward and forcefully used the butt of his gun to smash the thing against the head which released the bar owner from his mouth.

As the Zombies broke through the door leading to the stairway. Bruce opened Fire killing the first one the kicking him down the stairs knocking a few over. They soon got up however and Bruce emptied the rest of his clip into them. Replacing the clip and realizing he was down to his last one he fled toward the others wanting to conserve ammo. He arrived Just in time to see the Zombie bite the owner and see Duke knock it over the head releasing him. Bruce proceeded to open fire killing it. Then seeing the other two and having only 10 rounds left he fired a perfect headshot on one and got the other in the knee making it fall over. Finish it I'm running out of ammo!" he shouted.  |
