The Valkyre Virus...a Secret Black Op. that was developed in a juncture between the company Umbrella and the R&D sector of the military known as DARPA. This project had only seven people in it, each person was given a version of the virus that had a small strain that was tweaked. One was given the ability to actually dislocate his bones to fit into tight areas with no problem. Plus there were several other abilites but two people were given the same type.
The Valkyre virus gives people enhanced speed and strength but also enhanced senses. In Zack's and his female mentor's case they were given amazing vitality, able to fight and runs for nearly hours on end or fighting alot longer then most. This virus gave them a bit of a longer life span then most due to it allowing blood cells to expend less energy then others, giving the person nearly and doubled lifespan.
Most of the project members are dead now, only a handful of scientists as well as Zack and his mentor live, whereever she may be.
